Camlins Landscape Architects are truly delighted to be part of the winning team to deliver landscape design for the inspirational new Velindre Cancer Centre.

We see this opportunity as an immense privilege, and recognise the need to provide a sustainable, climate resilient campus, serving the needs of its patients, staff and visitors, but also its neighbouring communities and wildlife.

The landscape is its signature – our vision is to deliver a facility nestled amidst a rich verdant mosaic of habitats, enhancing existing and introducing new. From wildflower meadows to kitchen gardens, a swathe of landscapes connect the activity of the Centre to the natural world, bringing multiple health and wellbeing benefits though its heart. We aim to create an environment for both ecology and people to exist in holistic balance, enabling each to be sustained and thrive.

The Velindre landscape will be inviting, accessible to all, regenerative, and healing; we are excited to be part of its journey.
