Wildernesse House, Sevenoaks
Wildernesse House is a new later living community within an historic estate near Sevenoaks, Kent. The Georgian house was restored to include 23 new luxury apartments, with 8 houses in new mews buildings. The residents enjoy excellent facilities, including a restaurant, tennis courts, gym, pool and spa. The expansive recreational green space, tranquil atmosphere and fascinating history combine to make a wonderful place to live.
The residential buildings are set within series of terraced gardens. The underlying geometry is based on the existing stone retaining walls, augmented with a structure of evergreen hedges. The rose garden, formal lawns and fountain pool were restored. The restaurant has outdoor dining space with a kitchen garden and orchard. These formal gardens give way to the surrounding parkland meadow, avenues and woods.
