217 Bath Road, Slough

Camlins designed the landscape elements of this refurbished commercial office development in prominent a location. The key aims were, firstly, to enhance the appearance and legibility of the building approach and, secondly, to uplift the quality of the amenity of the external spaces by introducing areas for seating and planting. The landscape strategy was to bring planted elements to the multiple levels of the building, creating a green setting for the office spaces and provide a softer view from street level to help announce the first floor entrance space. For interior and exterior planting, lightweight planters were specified in coordination with the structural engineer and architect. Planting specification included pleached and specimen trees, hedging and interior exotic species to green the urban environment and workspaces.
