Before Camlins, Sam had a variety of jobs, from factory work to silver service waiter for the Freemasons. Now, he specialises in the technical aspects of landscape architecture, particularly in tender and construction stages. Professionally, he’s engaged in chartership mentoring, CPD production, social activity coordination and regularly reviews company efficiency. He’s been a project lead on significant developments such as Westbury Estate and Tribeca, honing his skills around planning negotiation and project management. He’s particularly proud of leading the Wildernesse House project from planning to completion and the very substantial planning approval for Church Street Westminster.
Beyond work, Sam enjoys video games, mountain biking and music. He finds inspiration in the acres of forests and woodlands at his Grandad’s brother’s farm in Anglesey. Described as approachable, funny and kind, Sam adds an unexpected twist: he holds a 2nd dan black belt in kickboxing. Overall, Sam’s approach to work and life reflects a perfect balance of technical acumen, mentorship and a zest for life.
