Trainee Technician

Pragya joined Camlins inspired by their innovative and sustainable landscape design. Her journey began with a passion for eco-friendly environments, nurtured through studies in urban regeneration. Shrewsbury’s rich heritage and dynamic landscapes provided the ideal backdrop for her contributions. She is thrilled to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to enhancing both human and natural environments.

Pragya is pursuing a BSc. (Hons) in Architecture at Coventry University, achieving top grades and the ‘Best Overall Performance’ award for two years. She has two years of study and four months of remote working experience as an AutoCAD trainee at Shree Builders, proficient in various design software including Photoshop, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.

Before Camlins, Pragya’s roles included being an AutoCAD trainee, assistant teacher and active member of the Leo Club of Kathmandu Lord Buddha, contributing to community projects. These roles equipped her with diverse skills in design, education and community engagement.

As a trainee landscape technician, Pragya brings technical expertise and attention to detail. She is passionate about creating sustainable, aesthetically pleasing landscapes and brings a fresh perspective to the team. Recently, she worked on the Velindre Cancer Centre and Tribeca projects, enhancing her skills in design software and project planning. The Velindre Cancer Centre project, with its focus on sustainability and biodiversity, particularly resonated with her.

Outside work, Pragya enjoys watching movies, cooking, reading and painting. She describes herself as enthusiastic, creative, and adventurous. Not many know she excels at timing microwave popcorn and has a high score in “Napping: The Video Game.”
