Associate
Hwei Hwei is an Associate Landscape Architect at Camlins with an impressive career spanning 17 years, eight of which have been with Camlins. She holds a BA (Hons.) in Landscape Architecture and has a rich professional background involving respected landscape consultancies across Asia, the Middle East and the UK. Her approach to landscape architecture centres around three pillars: users, environment and character. These foundational elements enable her to create landscapes that are functional, sustainable and deeply contextual.
Her role at Camlins is multifaceted. As a project leader, she collaborates closely with team members and contributes her expertise in navigating planning consents. Hwei Hwei has a keen focus on innovation and has led complex projects like the Nine Elms Park scheme, overcoming unique challenges such as soil contamination through creative design solutions.
Beyond project work, she engages in company-wide initiatives such as lessons-learned sessions and the Camlins’ Reboot, aimed at sustainable growth. She also takes an active role in bid efforts, identifying opportunities that align with Camlins’ expertise and vision.
Personally, Hwei Hwei is a charismatic, smart, and friendly individual with a passion for the outdoors. When she’s not designing landscapes, she enjoys visiting National Trust properties, indulging in sports events with her daughter and reconnecting with nature by the coast—a setting that rejuvenates her spirit. A lesser-known fact about her? She holds a black belt in martial arts. This perfect blend of professionalism, creativity and warmth makes Hwei Hwei an invaluable asset to the Camlins team.
