His value for design extends beyond aesthetics, intertwining meaningful experiences for both users and nature. Renowned for spearheading and successfully executing high-profile projects, Andrew prides himself for his ability to transform intricate design briefs into feasible design solutions.

Andrew’s educational and working background is rooted in landscape. Leaving school early, Andrew started work at a commercial plant nursery before moving into further education successfully gaining a Diploma in Landscape Technology laying the foundation for his career path into design. Following the successful completion of his studies in Landscape Architecture at Manchester Metropolitan University, Andrew began his career designing gardens for affluent clients in Cheshire where he worked for a number of years. Prior to his role at Camlins, Andrew accumulated valuable expertise in Singapore contributing to some of the region’s most ambitious building projects. After spending 7 years honing his skills in South East Asia, Andrew returned to the UK drawn by the allure of Shrewsbury’s idyllic location and his desire to seek a departure from living in large urban environments. In Camlins, he aims to instil confidence and ambition in the team, developing young talent, and generating new business opportunities. Andrew is a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute and acts as a mentor for individuals working towards there chartership.

Beyond work, Andrew often finds himself at peace while fishing on the River Severn. This pastime, initiated in his youth, brings back cherished memories of tranquil early summer mornings at a local pond, where the silence, stillness and anticipation brewed a captivating blend that still resonates with him today. In addition to his love for fishing Andrew has a penchant for travel and gardening, the latter often being a relaxed affair involving wine and a seat. Andrew is best described as reliable, reserved, and harbouring a dry wit. A recent discovery revealed a greater Viking ancestry over Saxon, albeit without the horns.
