Woodlands, Canford Cliffs
Woodlands is a later living community of 18 apartments, with shared living spaces. It is in a prominent location on Haven Road, Canford Cliffs. The street frontage is enclosed by a mixed evergreen hedge, typical of the area and the impressive existing trees have been retained. The gardens are richly planted with shade tolerant garden species that will thrive in the free draining soil. From the upper floors, balconies and roof terraces, residents have wonderful sea views of Pool Bay. The building sits at the top end of Flaghead Chine, one of the many locally characteristic steep green ravines that run down to the expansive sandy beach. The rear of the development links with Bessborough Road, a leafy pedestrian route up to Canford Cliffs village centre. The landscape at Woodlands makes an ideal setting for the apartments, but also integrates with the wider coastal landscape and community.
