Surrey County Hall
The proposed development at Surrey County Hall sensitively works with the existing listed building and landscape features, with the building being converted from office space to a hybrid work and residential mix.
The landscape maximises green space and usable pedestrian landscape, creating two new high quality green courtyards for the enjoyment of the residents. The north courtyard will be open to the public, allowing people to dip-in and appreciate the listed structures and abundant green space.
To the south, a new build element is proposed that will be knitted into the site through continuity of the landscape materials and planted finishes.
There are is an amazing contextually rich pallet of existing heritage materials that will be retained and adjusted to provide improved accessibility across the site.
