8A Battersea Park Road
This is new five/six storey residential building next to a locally listed church, located within the Battersea Park Conservation Area and also within the Vauxhall/Nine Elms/Battersea Opportunity Area. Camlins was commissioned at a late stage in the project to produce a remedial landscape design that would benefit the appearance of the locality and provide valuable communal amenity space for future occupiers. The entrance space was redesigned as an intensely planted courtyard garden. It consisted of a clear path through a green refuge to the main entrances, whilst providing a comfortable environment for seating spaces and private terraces. Particular attention was paid to a providing a low maintenance and high quality planting design with colourful seasonal change set against the year round evergreen structure.
