Mark Dunn

Managing Director

Mark is an ambitious and methodical professional. He boasts an impressive tenure of 11 years with Camlins, having originally joined the team when it was a tight-knit group of 7 members in Llangadfan. The serene charm of mid-Wales, notably Parc Bach, immediately captivated Mark, solidifying his decision to embrace life in the countryside and contribute to Camlins’ legacy. With a BSc in Architectural Technology from Nottingham Trent and a valuable 14-month stint with Michael Dyson Associates, Mark brought a rich blend of theoretical knowledge and hands on experience, especially in working with underprivileged communities.

His journey with Camlins has seen him climb the professional ladder, transitioning from a technical role producing drawing packages to managing director. Mark’s essence lies in being a realist. He admires creativity and design flair, and while his methodical approach is deeply rooted, he enjoys collaborating with the dynamic team of designers at Camlins. As a versatile contributor, he dons multiple hats – from overseeing IT and recruitment to mentoring and being an integral part of the senior management.

Mark’s proudest accomplishments lie in the transformative Nine Elms developments in central London. These projects, extending for over a decade, encapsulate his commitment to seeing designs transition from planning to realisation. Beyond the workspace, Mark is an ardent downhill mountain biker, drone enthusiast and snowboarding aficionado. Shropshire’s magical hillsides serve as his tranquil abode, while the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Rum, Jordan hold a special place in his heart. Mark balances his professional prowess with personal passions, especially his love for Marvel Comics, evident in his fully automated wearable Iron Man helmet.
