EG:HQ

EG:HQ is a new architype for workspace in London by Ballymore, with 217,000 sq ft on a highly prestigious site south of the river. The public realm includes a grand colonnaded frontage and a pocket park with café space splitting out under the existing mature plane trees. The landscape design takes up the character of Nine Elms Linear Park, becoming part of the network of green, family friendly spaces joining up the whole Nine Elms area.

There are many roof gardens, accessed directly from the commercial accommodation, so are effectively a wonderful extension to the office space. The largest terrace is accessed from the circulation core and also from the restaurant, so visitors to the building can pass up via a dedicated lift and enjoy this large garden with views of the neighbouring US Embassy, over the Thames and up to Westminster.
